As it looks like discrtes may not exist when searching the Pronto and URC file areas for a G.I. 4DTV box, I was wondering if any of the RTI files listed (as there many more than URC and Pronto combined) possible contain discretes. If so, I may switch him from the 850 to a T2+, esp since the RF is giving me fits anyway. Or does G.I. just not HAVE any diecreet power commands?

The few that I have worked with and using Crestron I have found no discretes for the 4DTV unit nor any of the Cable Boxes. On the last 4DTV unit we installed a light sensor over the Power led to monitir it status
If you do change over to RTI you have the RP6 and it has sensor capabilities(video, Power) so you could achieve a monitored status
