I have all my codes and buttons setup on the T2.

When the IRF-6 comes out and I want to go to RF (more distance, no more IR repeating needed) what will I need to do, change every button property to RF?

No,

Just edit the remote properies default output to RF instead of IR.
Done.

Rob,

Yup, I checked the help screen which seems to indicate the same thing.

Wow, that would make things way too easy!

That is a good design feature. I assume that you left the individual buttons' "output" parameter set to "default" and didn't change it to "IR". If you didn't, you will have to change each one (preferably back to "default" not "RF").

Talked to Etronixs.com today should have the IRF-6 unit's in stock within the next couple of day's by middle of next week or sooner. Can't wait!! Also found this by mistake today, www.theatrecontrols.com looks like someone has a file for IR codes. Have not tryed to download them yet. May help someone.

What would the coolest part be for the RTI remote which they don't have yet? Just curious- I am thinking maybe X-10.
