This seems like a dandy remote, and I'm looking forward to Daniel's review. But looking at the pictures, I can't help but think I'd like it even better if it didn't have the numeric keypad on the bottom. I'm using a Pronto now and I literally can't remember the last time I switched to the numeric-pad screen on any of my devices. The TheaterTouch would be closer to my ideal remote if it had a smaller form factor, maybe with one more row of distinctly-shaped buttons for play/pause/ff/rew and no numeric keys at all.
Am I in the minority here? Do other folks type digits at their equipment often?
I realize I can program the number keys to send whatever command I like, but that's not very easy to use (my guests would have no way of knowing that the "3" button switches surround modes, for instance).

I actually do use the keypad to enter CD track numbers and occasionally to enter DBS channel numbers. The alternative would be to make the LCD larger to be able to incorporate it in there. But most devices do have a keyboard which some use more than others. My DVD keyboard never gets used :).
Cheers,
DJ
