I like that you can control URC/lutron dimmers with 433rf but, I just ordered a T2CZ to experiment with. I plan to pair it up with an ZRP5 if they come out soon enough or an ZRP6. Maybe even an XP8. So the question is, what are the lighting control options for 4 or 5 light switches. 433 version with $.00 switches is cheap. What are we looking at for the non 433 controls? Thanks.

I would think if your using Z series, you no longer have rf ability so only IR from the Zrp6 or XP8 will be available, meaning you need to get a wire to the dimmers.
Lutron have the Spacers which should work for this.
I actually haven't used anything Zigbee yet, you must still be able to put buttons on the remote in stand alone and shoot IR directly from the remote too. Saves the wire requirement.

what's up with people posting dealer pricing on here lately?!?

+1 on the Spacers.  4 global scenes, global OFF, and global raise/lower.

Sorry about that, deleted it, forgot others can see this. Guess we should never discuss RTI problems either. I'm aware 433 is not going to work with this and getting wires to switches is ok. Seems like spacer is what to go with. Thanks.

Hello Everyone,

I recomend to use the Radio RA2 I have it in my house and I also done a few for customers. With the XP-8 the feedback works fast and you get slider bar level and ON/Off Feedback . With the ZRP-6 the Slider bar works fine but the ON/OFF do not give you feedback I called RTI about the problem and they told me a half ass work around I did not understand it and I also haven't gone back to the clients house, but if anyone here knows the work around for the RA2 and the ZRP6 please share it. The classic Radio Ra does not give you feedback on the status slider bar but ON/OFF yes it is a little slow it takes about 3 to 4 seconds to display the feedback with the XP-8 I have not done any Classic RA with ZRP6. Also if you need a bit cheaper system centralite works fine and for the same cost price as the URC dimmer but you need to get the RS232 Bridge to be abl;e to control the lights. There is no Driver for the Centralite yet I hope RTI gets one soon I have called them about it. Hope this helps if you have anymore questions let me know. Take care hope this info was of some help for you. GOD bless you all.

I have it in a few customers houses for more than 2 years and it works well but still Lutron Radio Ra2 has a few better things like in April they are comming out with a hybrid Switch that it does all type of lighting like incondecens, low voltage magnetic and something else I don't have all the names and you will have an Iphone app and your going to be able acese your home lighting through online. Centralite does not have that yet. Also Lutron is a bigger name and some customers will go for it because of the name brand. But the RA2 1 button switches are about 20% more on our cost than the centralite. Now for the Radio RA2 software you have to go to the BLAST Lutron traning and they make you jump through hoops to get it. Hope this help let me know if you have anymore questions. Take care and GOD bless you.

Centralite works well. For a smaller project it will save you money VS RA2. Centralite's one way serial works very reliably. If you want feedback and 2 way and drivers go with RA2.
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.
