Hey guys. I'm pretty new to this stuff, but it looks like this is the place to come for help. Doing an install that will eventually have multiple T2Cs, couple RK3s, and and XP8. I've already got one T2C working perfectly. The problem arose when I wanted to add another T2c to the system. In ID7, I just right clicked on the current T2C and selected "duplicate". After updating both remotes and the XP8, only the first T2C would work. The 2nd one LOOKS exactly like the first, only it doesn't seem to be communicating with the XP8. I'm sure its something I'm overlooking, but don't know what it is. Any suggestions?

don't duplicate it: just take the second T2C and download the ORIGINAL T2C program into it

I have 10 T2C's in one house done this way

I tried that first and it didn't work, which is why I thought I had to duplicate it. But I'll try it again tomorrow. What I'm wondering is why didn't it work the way I did it? What if you don't want all the remotes to be exactly the same?

You can download the same program into multiple remotes if they are 433, but not if they are Zigbee. Since Zigbee is two-way, each remote has an address set by Integration Designer so the system can talk back to it. If you download the same program into both of them, neither of them will communicate properly.

If they are Zigbee, using Device menu > Duplicate is the way to go.

Figured it out. There were a couple of 2.4 Ghz remotes mixed in with the 433 Mhz ones.
