have you tried the old workaround??

Play, stop for on
and a play, power for off

If your using a T2C, or better, open the library and start testing with the remote connected to the usb, and try all the dvd codes

Point the remote at the dvd, and highlite the power codes and test until you find one. if no codes work other than power use the workaround

another quick testing I use for T1, T2+ remotes is create a Test program and add a remote of each commonly used remotes

Open it and add ir commands to the screen or buttons, then upload and test.

It works good for macro testing too. When you find a working code use it when you reopen your client program

Seems to save me some time in need of code hunting.

doesn't yamaha have a dealer website with all the IR codes? I'd ask your Rep.
