anyone know how to decifire the first part of this projectors rs232 documentation?

sure would be nice if there was atleast one example trying to do on, off, rgb1, rgb2, vid1

It looks to me like the ID designate is not necessary, as it states in the Notes "If a command is sent with a projector ID specified...".

So Power On would be:
\x02PON\x03

Input RGB1:
\x02IIS:RG1\x03

Hope that helps.
