Hey Everyone,

I'm doing a big install with 4 XP8's controlling AV, Homeworks, shades ... and Aprilaire HVAC.
I'm wondering on how to make a mirror from the programmable interface for the stats. I'm mean, fine, we can set the temp from direct buttons but how to give the client ability to set their own day/night timeline for temperature? I can program them with the XP8/Time Events but then again the client would have to call me everytime he wants to change it. Feedback is also an issue, link pages are not reliable since they don't keep track with presses.
Any ideas?
TX!!

I believe page links would work if you create a pretty extensive flag system to keep track of where the system is at. Set a flag when you set the temp. and have the "HVAC" button on your homepage check to see what flag is set and have it link to that page. I've done this in a simpler form with lighting systems (on/off feedback) but this would definitely be more involved. Should work.

Second thought about the feedback. There are rumors that the XP-8 will allow for two-way communication with the Aprilaire system in the next update. When that will be is anyone's guess.

Thank Utaw! It's a good idea but I'm almost giving up on this... The problem is that I have 1 T4 and 1 K4 per room (X5). So the client will change the temperature in both panels not to mention if he presses "All" from the Entry K4. Even if I do it with system flags I'm afraid of the reliability. And they'll also be controlling shades, lights and 6 AV systems..
Thank you though, I really appreciate your input.
Regards!

Either wait for 2way or step up to another control system. Dont do Sec or HVAC without feedback.

RTI should have 2 way anywhere between now and never so I hope you didnt sell the system with functionality it doesnt offer.

I use Homelogic when Sec and HVAC are integrated.
