Ok, been out of the box about 10 minutes and I've got my first issue. The faceplate is held on with six magnets which are glued into the faceplate panel. the first time I took the faceplate off, three of the magnets stayed stuck to the front of the unit. Petty, but still shouldn't be. I also hear some relays clicking about every two minutes; Have yet to load my program on it, that might take care of it.

For the price of this unit, the issue with the magnets is more than petty IMO.

I agree, but I guess I'm just happy to finally see it.

I still don't believe it is real! I think that you are a part of the RTI conspiracy. haha I can't wait to get mine. I have at least 3 on order. I'll have one or two installed within two days of having it. Man I can't wait for some two-way action. :)
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

This exact thing happened with the Prototype they showed at training. I picked it up and the front panel popped off. Couple of the magnets stuck to the panel.

Roddy,

Are you saying that two-way will still be 12-15 months away????

I can't believe that RTI needs this kind of time to get this product working.

Thx Dave

That is the rumor on the street, I have no first hand knowledge. But look how long the XP-8 took. I have to say at this point I have no plans with RTI and 2-way communication. And those waiting on it are seeing the world go by.

I had a client order some batteries from you, by the time I e-mailed to follow up they already had the batteries in hand. Nice work...

I was told they hired two RS-232 programmers.

With that said though, I think anything earlier than 15 months will be a gift, based on their track record.
