Installed a K4 with 1 video feed to it. Every time an IR command is issued from this keypad, the picture fades in and out. Thought maybe it was just fading due to the fact was pushing on the screen, but this was not true. Only fades when it is issuing an IR command.

Any thoughts? Thanks

I recall reading somewhere(might of been here) about a video issue on the K4.
Might of been that when the IR sensor on the front was disabled the problem went away or it was to do with grounding.
I am only going on memory (I have bad memory :-)), so a search here might turn something up.

Did a few searches earlier.

IR sensor is disabled. Not having bars, picture just fades a bit with every command issued.

Thanks for the reply.

Try the ambient light sensor, turning it off I think. I only have the new software on this laptop and I don't have the guts to open working files yet... :)

Tried this too. I currently have the ambient light sensor turned off. At first, I had a slight rolling bar before I turned of the sensor.

My problem is more like a screen fade. As it issues a command, the picture fades a little bit.

I usually get a flicker as it is transmitting.

For me it all depends on how far the run is. One thing that I thought was great about the K4's video was that you are actually still able to read the guide from a cable box or sat box. If only we could get that on the T4!!!!
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

How long is your power feed? Are you using the correct power supply?

Could the keypad be under powered and fading when you put any extra strain on it?
