Sorry to re-post this....but the theater forum left me dry (no responces).......Hope one of you senior guys can recommend something even if it doesn't meet all of the spec's I placed below. TIA

Have a client that wants as small of a projector as possible for his bar room cieling (and silver is on his wish list, but I'm not holding out for that). The budget for this piece is $2500-$3500.00. THe Marantz VP8600 (17"x17"x8" scared him away). As well as an InFocus in78 (15"x15"x6"). Light level in this room can be controlled.

I would like someting with a DarkChip3.....

Small than above with similair performance.......

Dark finish on projector.........

Bracketable very tight to the cieling if possible........
(or mention lowest profile bracket you have worked with)

I think if we cover three out of four from above that would be great!

Thanks Guys!

Mitsubishi HD4000U 2000 lumens 3 year advanced replacement warranty for commercial applications.

I have 50 of them installed in several sports bars and I think it is the best fit for the application. Sell a monthly service contract to clean it every 2 weeks and you will get 3500 hours easy out of the lamp.

Meets most of your specs. I haven't seen this particular one, but I think they are pretty decent.
