I am having trouble learning the remote that comes with the Sony TiVo SVR-2000. I go through the IR learning process and things seem to go as described in the manual. After downloading to T2, I try it out and nothing happens. The TiVo does not respond. When I check the codes within the IR library manager, it has a frequency set at 40.3Khz. Please advise Is there a file I can download already?

The frequency you mention should be fine. In addition, the Sony TiVo uses traditional Sony-format codes, which should work well. Try learning a little differently... and, out of curiosity, does the TiVo also have an RF feature?

Mike, mine is set at 40.2 and sustain is checked. I had downloaded file 'IR-WC-09-05-2000.cml' but had to tinker with it a little and it seems to work fine. I don't believe I had to "learn" more then one or two button presses. Hope that helps.
Daniel, the Tivo does not have an RF feature.
