Broken Backlight on T2

Well I must just have bad luck with buying new equipment. About a year ago I purchased a Sherwood Pre/Pro and hooked it up and it had a bad digital board. Oh well, they replaced it with a new one. Then I bought a new HD tv, and the blue gun crapped out. Well two weeks and a new gun later, all was better.

My latest, I get this nifty T2 remote, program it, use it for a couple of hours and poof, no back-light. Yes I checked the tilt feature, yes I changed batteries, the light just doesn't work. I can still see the icons on the LCD, just not as well as if they were backlit.

Well now is the time when you start to question whether you picked the right company from which to purchase this new not so cheap device.

I purchased mine from Bill at HomeAutomationNet. He has been a frequent poster to this forum and his prices were very competitive. Well I called Bill and left him a message informing him of the problem. Within a half hour he returned my call and said he would send me a new unit. I received the replacement unit and all is well again.

I have been very pleased with the service I received from HomeAutomationNet.com I would recommend anyone looking for good service and low prices to feel at ease purchasing from them.

Thanks,

Mike P.
