I bought the new yamaha rx-a2000 receiver and so far I am pretty happy with the quality of sound and picture. However, I can not say the same for Yamaha's support. I have emailed them on several issues and still have not heard back.

The one problem I am having is the zones 2 and 3. I had it working fine one day and I think I might have done something where it now doesn't work. I have tried using the remote and the iphone app. When using the app it looks like it should be playing I have the volume up, made sure the input is on the right source.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Before we can help you, we need more info.

How are the zones hooked up? How many speakers in each? What sources are you trying to use? How are they hooked up?

Details are needed before anyone, including Yamaha, can try to help you out.

And are you attempting to use internal power amplifiers for zone 2, with an external amp for zone 3... things like this are needed to address your questions. As you can see from my signature below, details are necessary. Thanks for telling us the model number, at least!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

You may need to check have you have the zones assigned, this is done in the menu of the yamaha, are you using analog audio inputs? Are the zones powering on? What level are they adjusted to? Are you running more than one pair of speakers for each zone? All of these are questions you need to ask yourself listen to Gilman cant help without basic questions answered.
