protect mode on a sony need help to fix myself

i have a sony SRT-K660P and it went in to protect mode , there were no speakers hooked up , it had been put up for a while need to know were or how to fix it.

"protect" Having no load can bring this up i.e. no speakers attached and or also blown output transistors will do that too. I would suggest a trip to the local repair man.

Also, just make sure there's no leftover stray strands of wire stuck between the speaker terminals. However, generally the outlook is not good when this happens...
