I am looking to install a LED Flatscreen in one room and control a Verizon Fios (Motorola Box) in a closet.

The cable run is an approximate 40-50 feet. The easiest thing to do would be to run a cable to the IR control in the back.
Does such a cable exist? (I have a short one) but has anyone seen a much longer one?)
Will it work?
Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

The length won't be an issue. That being said, I own a couple of these which are very well made and currently on sale 50% off.
