I recently installed a new V-2065 and love it! However, for the life of me I cannot find how to reprogram the "scene" buttons on the supplied remote control (RAV296). I want to set the BD/DVD to HDMI 2 and the TV button to HDMI 1.

I've read through the manual twice and simply cannot find the appropriate section. The specs say this is easy to do to so I know it can be done.

Anyone out there have this unit and remote?

Why is it as SOON as you post a query, you figure it out yourself?

I found that "zone 2" was turned on and this prevented the ability to program the scene buttons. Once I turned off zone 2, it worked just fine. Sorry.

I'm not sorry, but grateful, that you asked and answered this question. It's a who'd-a-thunk kind of issue, and I'm really glad you pointed that out to us!

And welcome to the site!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Which would have remained buried in obscurity had you not revived it.

djy, is that a compliment or a slam? I don't feel ya, bud.

pesci, my guess is that Hedodoc "figured it out" by accident. Lots of times the instructions assume starting conditions without telling you what they are.

I'll take this, then, to be that when you're trying to reprogram something, start with every bell and whistle turned off first.

I have a question about the same remote. I can not seem to find if you can program or reprogram a buttom.. for instance I have programmed my cable box into remote, however, the one feature we use is the on screen TV guide and when I used the code for the cable box I pushed every buttom on remote and it seems that that feature or buttom has been programmed to any button on the remote and therefore I will still be stuck using the cable box remote.

Thanks
