Sirius Sportster Sat Radio
I want to attach a whole house FM transmitter to the output of my Yamaha Rx-v3900 in order to send signals to other FM radios around the house, primarily satellite radio.
I have a Sirius Sportster sat radio with an FM transmitter, but find that it is not powerfull enough to reach all the areas I need it to. it does also NOT broadcast in stereo on the FM transmitter.
I am looking at a Mobile Black Box Eclipse-4000 FM Audio transmitter as a possible solution, because it 1) broadcasts in stereo 2) claims a range of up to 450 ft and 3) comes with a 3ft antenna (vs. the 12" wire antenna on the sportster)
Any feedback on this model, or any recommended alternatives?
