Ultimately, it's your ears that must choose. Generally speaking, Bose is slick with marketing schtick, product novelty (e.g. cubes) and under-delivers in sound quality and bang-for-the-buck (over priced!). There are better sounding and more affordable options out there. Go...listen...compare...compare again...and choose. Most importantly, buy from a dealer that will let you return speakers if you don't get what you had hoped for when you fire them up in your own environment. good luck!
