NO REMOTE WILL LEARN AN RF SIGNAL!!!!! EVER! IT IS NOT AND WILL NEVER BE DONE!

This means NO fans, fireplaces, cb radios, rc planes, or food proccessors
that come with an rf remote can be controlled by any learning remote!!!!

"How about my ac unit?" -- NO!
"What about my sonicare toothbrush?" -- NO!

NO RF DEVICE CAN BE LEARNED INTO A UNIVERSAL REMOTE!

Now someone will come up with a learning RF remote, just to prove you wrong.

Pretty uptight considering he hasn't even reached a year here, yet. Totally missed the BFDs.

I hope someone does come up with an rf learning remote, but then none of us could afford it after that person pays all of the licensing fees for all of the possible rf frequencies to the FCC.

Microwaves; get your mobile to change channel. Hang on, isn't that what Bluetooth is all about.

Yeah, whenever something totally foolproof is invented, nature invents a better fool.

By the way, I touched the screen when this thread was up, and it WAS sticky! YUCK!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
