Overanalizing something as complex as this is a little crazy.

Phase adjustment on a sub is an excellent 'tool' to make it sound good.

Unfortunetly, there are too many variables in any given room to asign a hard 'number' to the correct setting!

Try EVERY setting, and then, pick the one that sounds the best!

Like you said, its 'simple' if you don't complicate it!
