No, unless you want it with high quality picture. You can split the output of the box or you can use a different output to send to the other room. But wireless is pretty crappy so far IMO.

Option 1: Buy a DVD recorder and drop your recorded content to a DVD-R. (provided you have a DVD player in the bedroom). This would work with any storage system, like a VCR or a portable hard drive, as long as it has the proper inputs and outputs.

Option 2: Hardwire A/V cables to the bedroom from the cable box. Be sure to use a distribution amp for the video signal at the very least, or a complete multi-room distribution system. The secondary output on some cable boxes only work when you are playing back a TIVO'd show, not live shows. Should be ok for what you want to do.

Option 3: Disconnect cable box and move it to the bedroom for playback.

I do not consider wireless an option.

A channel modulator will do the trick. Run the AV outs to the channel modulator. The channel modulator hooks up to the main cable line and will send the DVR to all rooms wired for cable. You will then watch you cable as you normally do, then watch the DVR on channel 116 ( or antoher channel). Very easy to do and cost effective. You could alwos use a Xantech system that will allow you to use a remote in other rooms and control the DVR in the main theater room.

thanks guys for your input..since i want to view hd content making dvds is out..its an older home with plaster walls and stuff so hard wire could be messy..modulater would work except cable co just ran dedicated line from pole to dct6200 to try and solve ongoing dropouts..{ ive left many other posts on this nightmare },,so upstairs is not connected to dvr at all..

So, you have 2 HDTVs? Why don't you just get another DVR for the other room?

They say you can't buy it, but I still say happiness costs sometimes. I just spent nearly $4k for more happiness.
