Is there a devise that will convert the IR from my Sony RM-AV 2500 to RF and then back to RF? I do not want to use power mids where you have to point line of sight at one pyramid to send the signal to another pyramid. The pointing line of sight is what I am trying to eliminate. I tried a product sold by SmartHome "Remote Control Xtender", which is made by a company called Next Generation where you change a battery in the remote to a battery that comes with the product and the remote your puts out RF. There is a receiver that receices the RF and coverts it back to IR. This product works very well but does not output all the IR frequencies I need to control all my components. I have to slide a 3 positioin switch on the receiver from "a" to "b" depending on which components I am attemting to control. That makes this product unuseable for me. Does anyone know of a similair product that would pass all IR frequencies so I could control all my components without pointing my Sony RM-AV 2500 remote at anything at all?

Thanks;

Steve
