We are installing a Pioneer PDP-5051Hd, as you know the cable they give you is usually too short to install the box with the rest of the equipment. Does anyone know of an extension that isnt 500 dollars. Also what is the other side of that cable? I know that one of them is a dvi but I am not too sure what the other one is. Thanks in advance.

The other portion of the cable is for communications between the box and the TV. Check out KeyDigital for their cables, they are quite a bit less than the Pioneer cables, but still pricey. www.keydigital.com

Also, sometimes you can remote place the box in a room behind the plasma and run analog video from your equipment to the box. I don't know what your application is, but I thought I would just throw that out there.

The other one is a MDR20. Key Digital works great.
