Is it possible that if I stroke our cat too vigorously she'll suddenly fly out of my hands and stick to a wall?

Sorry, but having scoured the annals of Google, I've been unable to unearth any evidence of the above. Perhaps my search criterion was incorrect; "cat stuck to wall" didn't return many hits. Perhaps others have had better luck?
