I am trying to covert all my home theater components IRs to bluetooth, so that I can control all the hometheater equipment with a blue tooth computer with a blue tooth keyboad, mouse if the blue tooth range is good enough for atleast 20 to 30 feet.

I'm looking to do something similar. Trying to get all components placed within a closed front cabinet (open back for air) and still retain ability to control them. So for me Ir's not going to work. I'll keep searching the threads for some other posts about this.
