Sorry, it has been 15 years since I connected my home theater. Yes I have cable and love it, that with tivo, life is good. However I have two speakers that I had connected behind the couch and now I don't remember how I connected them. I must have cut one set of wires and connected them together and then used the second set to plug into the tv installing left and right. Please help. they are not working and I think they need to go into some sort of power source but I can't remember. Plus, I don't have room now with the new ones I added but would like to know what to purchase.

With the info provided, it would be impossible to help you without a visit. If you don't remember, how could we? I'm not even sure what the question is. Your profile is bare; where are you?

My point.

We're not trying to be mean, Catdog, we just need more specific info than you're giving. Well, some of us might get a little obnoxious.

Please try again; give make and model no's, and explain how the wiring is connected, terminal to terminal. You'll need to climb behind the sofa.

P.S. Dan, where's the 'delete' in 'edit'?

smells like sarcasm to me...
What part of "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." do you not understand?

I'd like to ask anyone here how I would hook up a home cinema L-6 system, to my dvd, vhs, or tv. the problem I'm having, is that the L-6 system has six input's on the back of the amplified sub, but only two outputs from the components. I know enough to be dangerous, but not enough to make it work. Do I need to buy another component to split the signal? If anyone can give me some advise, or info, I'd surely appreciate it.
need a little help here

I'm not familiar with the 'L-6'
generally, the 'output' of a source goes to the 'input' of your amp ,er, I mean, L-6.

The source being a TV, vcr, DVD player, etc.

The 'outputs' are probably not relevant unless they apply to the speakers.
If it has speaker terminals, hook the speakers to that and that's your 'out's'!

Hope this helps.

The problem I'm having Pilgrim, is that the tv, dvd and vhs only has two out put plugs. The L-6 system has an amplified sub-woofer, and the five other speakers and the sub-woofer has two input jacks to drive them. I can plug in only the two wires coming from the tv, vhs and dvd player, but then only two speakers work. I need to figure out how to drive all five speakers, plus the woofer, keeping in mind that being amplified, the lines in can't be powered. (confusing I know)
