Hi Guys,
I live in Brazil and we don't have much choices in terms of cost-efficient systems over here. I have a small room with a nice TV (Sony 36" XBR) and am looking to put a little HTIB system on it. My budget is around $500 and the best two options I found available here (after lots of searching I might add) are the Onkyo HTS770 and the Denon DHT 485XP. Feature-wise they are quite similar - I'm wondering if any of guys have tried these systems and could pitch in regarding which is the better buy.
Thanks,
Gus

No experience with that Denon system but I,ve set up a few of the Onkyo one and it is decent for the money. I would recommend upgrading the speaker wire though, it makes a big difference in the sound.

I personally own the Onkyo system HT770S. Value for Dollar is the best system compared to all systems I compared. I didn't demo the Denon though.
