I consider myself pretty computer savy, far more than average, but I'm feeling completely inadequate. I just bought an MX-3000. I opened the software that accompanied it and fumbled around setting up the tv, audio and dvd and sat in a manner that I think is ok. However, I can't get the remote to be installed. I get found new hardware, then no drivers, no matter where I look and I've looked on the CD, in the directory for the universal remote, everywhere. Accordingly, I cannot connect, let alone see if the thing works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm extremely frustrated for someone that just spent a grand on a remote.

Any advice?

Oh the temptation . . . but no, I can resist.

Sirphil,

Your best bet would be to try the Home Theater Master forum.

Have you installed Activesync?
