does anyone know if this tv remembers video settings for each input or if it is just one setting for all inputs? i know there are different picture settings in it that can be set to users preference, if it does not remember picture settings by input are there discreet codes for each of the picture modes? i checked the manual online and coul not find the answere one way or another in there.

You should have post this on: Sat, Cable and HDTV.
Panasonic Model PT-56WX53 rear projection HDTV. Once you set your video settings (Contrast, Brightness etc...) it will remain at the same setting regardless of the video input you're choosing. There aren't any discrete codes for each picture setting.
