I have an Sony Ultimate TV DVR Sat -W60 and I would like to replace my hard drive so I can record more hrs. Does anyone know how to do this? I need to know what kind and what size drive I need. I also would like to know how to program the new drive after it is installed. Also are there any risk when you change drives? I'm sure there is more I need to know so I hope I can get some help.

thanks
Max

Complex. UTV has locked drives, they are a pain to deal with. The one my family had came with a 45GB drive, you'd want a replacement at least that large, but there are probably limitations. I'd start with this thread:

Scroll down a bit to find the info on upgrades and hard drive swapping.
