Has anyone researched the use of air purifiers, specifically ones that purify using positive and negative ion emission. My concern would be audio/video interference that could be created in your theater, something we try so hard to avoid.Sharp has a new air purifier model called plasma cluster that uses this technology it has a great looking style and runs sillently, and a great way to cut back on airbourne dust.
I would welcome any thoughts on this subject.

Ion cleaners are still not as effective as a good HEPA filter, IMO. They also require frequent cleaning or they won't actually clean the air. It can get to be a pain.

I know nothing about potential A/V interference. I would assume it to be the same as any other similarly rated electrical device. You can always turn it off during a show.

I'm not sure about that other one you mentioned, haven't seen or used that yet.
