We are redoing the carpet in our conference room and would like to run a number of cables (VGA, 3XRJ45, power) under the carpet. Trenching is not an option and we are ok with a bump; my question is there some kind of cord cover out there I should run them through or is my best bet just to wire tie them up and run them directly under the carpet?
Thanks!

I forget the name of the manufacturer but they make a pretty decent molding to run wires in - you can find many others as well, but this one doesn't look bad at all. Seems perfect for your application. I'll try and find the product name, i'm sure someone else will reply quicker though.

I would check with a licensed electrician as to the code requirements in that situation for AC wiring. Will chairs be situated in the area? No doubt these runs are to bridge the conductors and power from a wall to the boardroom table. You will probably be selecting the shortest distance for the runs. If the floor under the carpet is concrete, you could probably get away with chipping out a couple of paths for conduit (check with a structural engineer first). If it is wooden frame, notching out some paths wouldn't be much of a challenge. You are going to have to remove the carpet in any event.

Try going to http://www.hubbell-premise.com they have some real flat plasic raceway
that if you slit the carpet padding out and lay this in its place then lay the carpet over it
you shouldn't even know it's there.

You can also use Wiretracks www.wiretracks.com to run the wire behind molding to a point close to the conferance table then cut the floor and put in PVC. this will allow you to make future changes easier.

Smirff tub or PVC can be connected right into the wiretrack
