Hi,
Just found this forum and people really seem to know what they are talking about!
I'm in the buying process for a media PC that I'll be connecting to my Denon 2805. What sound card to buy?
Within my budgettary limits I see three options: 1. Use the standard soundcard on the motherboard 2. Buy a good sound card like Terratec Aurean 7.1 3. Buy a semi-professional one like EMU 1212
In the PC shop they say I don't need anything more than the standard soundcard with an optical output as this will bypass the soundcard anyway. Can anybody advise?
Thanks beforehand, Marc

Just a standard soundcard with digital out will work well with the system you have.
