I also have a hard time when trying to contact Denon. They also don't have a 24hr 1-800 line like many other brands. At least they publish all of their RS232 codes on their website. If you think Denon is bad try Sony. They have the worst service among the brands that I represent.

I just check with another tech and he said that the microphone that we used to set up the 3805 was the microphone from our display 2805. So you were correct. My bad.
