What is the experience with these Mega Disc DVD players on the market? I think Sony has a couple and Pioneer has one. Anyone have comments on reliability and picture quality.

I've used a Sony 300 disc DVD changer ( I don't recall the model # ) connected to a Sony 32" analog tube via component video and was impressed. Only done it once about 6 months ago and so far so good.

I have Sony's DVP-CX860 301 disc DVD, and I think it's great.

Thanks for responding. I have read several inputs at pricing sites which really blast the Sony and Sony service. The main issue seems to be the transport system jamming after only a couple months use. Then, the service people seem to be very rude. I think maybe only negative impressions are logged and the people who have positive or neutral experiences just don't feel a need to log their impression. Thanks again for your input!

I have a Kenwood, similar to the 5050 model sold in the US. I have been very happy with it. Search the DVD forums for more threads.
