Ok..I'm really embarassed to ask what appears to be a really simple question.

Following the instructions from Radio Shack, I purchased and installed an RCA Home Theater system linking a DVD, Cable Box, TV, and DVD. Then programmed the universal that came from RCA only to find out it didn't work w/the cable box (don't ask).

So...back to Radio Shack. They sold me a 15-2104 and I'm reprogramming all of the buttons again. All appeared well UNTIL I tried to program the "Theater" button which is the RCA Home Theater (I hope). I understand it is an AMP code. I've pressed "Theater" and tried at least 40 different codes (as well as trying to find the code manually per the manual's instructions) and am having no luck.

If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. I'm getting kind of frustrated. NEVER done this stuff before...almost makes me want to get married again to let a guy do it since it probably comes natural to most of them.

the theater key is not button you can
assign a code to. you need to use the
aux button and assign a code.then you
can control your rt-2280.
