anyone have a line on a good device to allow me to add additional componet in devices? I need to add a progessive scan DVD and only have one HD input.

Some higher end receivers will swith hd component video. I have a denon 4802 that will. The 3802 will not. Onkyo's 898.

Mike there are three or four on the market I had this same problem when I got my X-box. I bought the key digital KD-WS2x1 Auto-Switch, a little pricey but works like a charm. Automatically senses where the signal is coming from and switches.

I'm not sure what the bandwidth requirement of HD signals are, but the following has a 30 hz bandwidth:
