I am looking for a DVD player that also plays SACD or DVD-Audio, and it was looking like I was going to get the Sony NC650V, 5 disc DVD with SACD(approx $350). I just read about the Apex AD-7701, but was wondering if anyone had some answers about the following..
What kind of Bass management does it offer for its SACD/DVD Audio outputs (analog). Does the Progresive Scan output use a 3:2 pulldown feature. What kind of ouputs does it have, digital audio, coax and or optical, how many outputs of composite video, s-video and analog audio do they offer, how about component video.
Lastly those that already have Apex players would you recommend their DVD products for not only reliabilty but also their on screen abilities, do they downconvert anamorphically recored DVD's to a 4:3 monitor without any problems.
Anyone with any answers to the above is greatly appreciated..
