I have a 61 inch Mitsubishi big screen. We have a sony remote control for the tv. It some how got turned on to home-theatre mode and it will not turn off unless you press cancel and our remote does not have this function. If anyone knows how to do it on the consol of the tv it would be great beacuse we tried everything and it would not work. thanks.

Bobby,
If Mitsubishi hasn't changed the home theater mode since I got my unit (seven years ago), I think this is how it works...
Home theater mode allows you to control the switching of your TV by letting you plug it into a switched outlet on the back of a reciever. When you turn on or off your reciever the TV goes on or off. The TV retains its info even though the power is cut at the outlet. To switch the mode back all you need to do is access the menu and change the mode.
