anyone have a good recommedation on a remote to control the Runco PL=42C??

We program the Marantz RC-5000 (aka Pronto) and AMX Viewpoints with all the Runco products (not the old 760W!) with no problems. Are you having a particular problem or just looking for models that have worked?
Also, if your controller remote does not have the samll, pinpoint numeric keys (0-9) you need an upgrade. These allow you to teach another remote discrete commands for ON, OFF, Aspect Ratio (4:3, 16:9, Letterbox), Inputs (Composite, S-Video, Component, HDTV) & the Installation Mode. Your dealer can replace the firmware chip and provide a new remote.
