Anybody know what settings to use for Dynaco speakers? My speakers have two parts a tweeter and a woofer and I frequency selector on the back between low flat high what would be the best choice.

H, the flat setting is intended to mean a smooth frequency response curve, with the treble at the same general level as the bass, for "average" rooms. Sound, especially treble, tends to bounce off of reflective (to sound, that is) surfaces, which increase the apparent brightness of the sound.
The low setting is meant for use in a room with mostly smooth, hard surfaces, like bare walls and floors, and not a lot of furniture, where treble would tend to sound too bright.
The high setting is meant for use in a room with mostly rough, soft surfaces, like carpeting, bookshelves, and upholsted furniture, where treble would tend to sound too soft.
These guidelines are very general. What's most important is to set the switch to what sounds best to you. You'll find this to be the best guide as you explore the world of sound.

P.S. Please forgive me if I seem condescending. I'm assuming by your question that you're a relative beginner in the audio/video arena.

Yea I am somewhat new to this. By the way which way is the low/high settings. I am assuming that down is low and up is high.

It's not labeled? That's odd.

H, the high setting should boost the treble, and the low setting should cut the treble.
