Hey, CI.

First, if you need to correct a mistake, simply go back to your letter and click on 'edit message'.

Second, I've heard that the best way to find the ideal sub position is to place the sub where you sit and listen (crawl around the room) for the best bass, then put the sub where the bass sounded best. Sounds nuts, I know.

Actually, it works pretty well for the "sweet" spot and seats close to that spot, but in some rooms can really screw up other seating positions. Mine being one of them.

However, it is IMHO the best way to start.

SMR Home Theatre is a top-notch site for information of this sort. Cruel, check out the article here [Link: smr-home-theatre.org] titled: Sub-Woofer Setup & Information. ... Mike

PS: I'd have to add, backing up Greg's response, that in the end, especially in a small area like mine, just hiding it in a corner behind your wall unit also works incredibly well.

I'll agree with the above advice. I did this and the results were great! You'll get funny looks from your family members though, when you crawl around! :)

What equipment are you using?
