Hi

I've just purchased an Ixos digital interconnect with so-called WBT RCA connectors. Now that I try to connect it, it seems too small for the female RCA on my equipment.

I guess this is the intention as the WBT is apparently a locking type connector, but is it really the intention that you should use brute force to get it connected???

Thanks in advance for your experienced advice,

Allan

Greve,

I don't own any IXOS interconnects but I am going to
take a guess and say that the barrel of the connector
rotates to lock it onto the connection. I could be
totaly wrong here... Just guessing.

Greve, maybe you need to 'untwist', or turn to the unlock position to insert the plug, then relock.

Not quite like BNC, but it is true that the outer parts should be loosened slightly by unscrewing and then tightened again to lock the outer conducting parts onto the connector. Not complicated if you know how... (as with many things in life...)

Thanks for the inspiration.
