Hey Folks,

I managed to get the Surround L/R (AR 216's) mounted
and wired today. Rather than go up through the walls
I decided it would save me time and mental anguish to
simply go straight through the ceiling. As you can see
in the image below it turned out super clean and very
professional IMHO. Termination is made via RS 24K Gold
Crimped Banana Terminals and RS Oxygen Free 18 Ga CL2
In-Wall Navaho White cable.

Now I need to pick up an Onkyo 2 channel component amp
and another set of 216's to use as my "Back" Surround
but untill then, I am VERY pleased with the results!
And the B-Tech mounting brakets worked perfectly!

Mike,

Actualy I don't :) Yes I am single and I intend to
keep it as such. I live with my dad, after my parents
split a couple years ago he needed someone to help
with all the bills. I figured rather than see him
lose it all I would stay there and pay my way and
I have been ever since. Thankfuly we have the same
interests and we're able to fight with eachother and
not get REALLY mad :)

I enjoy my arangement, It lets me be responsible yet
at the same time enjoy the finer things in life that
I would not be able to do if I had a $1500.00 a month
mortgage.

You're a lucky guy. My Dad passed away 25 years ago, but I had a hard time living with him then... ;-)

Mike,

No doubt about it, I am lucky to share a close
relationship with both of my parents. So many
siblings wait till thier parents are on thier
death bed before they realize how much of an
important role thier parents played in thier
development. I am very greateful to both of
my parents, I couldn't have asked for better.

And that is why I would bend over backwards for
either of them.

Yeah, you know, my step-Dad left my Mother for another woman about two months ago. They are all in their early 70's, and my Mom was just devastated. Because they both depend on pensions, she has just lost half her income. Only three years ago they moved permanently to a small village in Mexico where many retirees live, so she is now alone, completely separated from family... although she has many good friends there, it is just not the same.

I'm helping out in any way I can; paying some bills, shipping automobile parts for her aging Honda, stuff like that. This is the woman that made my life what it is and turned me into a responsible person. You're absolutely right: I'm very grateful as well. ... M

Just a hope-I'm-not-being-too-personal suggestion, from one who agrees with both of you: tell THEM, not just us. (*_*)

Amen Mike,

Larry, I do every day... I can honestly admit at this
point in my life I don't know what I would do without
them. I can only pray that in our lord's infinate
wisdom he grants me many more years with both of them.
