I just purchased a Panasonic CT36D31 TV. What I am used to and would like to have it do is that when the TV speakers are on the audio output would be a fixed level, then if I wanted to listen in Pro Logic I just lower the volume of the speakers and turn on the receiver. This TV defaults to a variable output level, so if you lower the volume on the TV the receiver gets no signal. At this point you need to go into the audio menu and select speakers off fixed audio out. Like most of the panasonic products you hit action and get a half dozen sub menus that you arrow around to get into. I thought I could make this a macro but there is no logical starting point once you get back into the menu, it works off of where you were last,so getting back into the audio menu is unreliable that way. So I am looking for any tips on either how to get into the audio menu easier (discete codes??) or a service menu that can default the TV to fixed outputs all the time even with the TV speakers on.. Thanks Bill

why not just turn off the tv speakers and use the receiver all the time? the built-in tv speakers are crap anyway...
