Mad: Your set is not HD-ready (just the type of comb filter it uses is an indication of that), but you will get some pretty good looking pictures nonetheless, due to both the component input capability and the higher resolution the set is capable of.

You still won't be able to send it a progressive signal. Interlaced only.

if it says 1080i or 720p above the input it is...and it would probably say hdtv or dtv on the front of the tv.......robert
