I recently purchased this model. I bought a floor model that did not come with a remote. I'm having a problem getting the screen to stretch in "theaterwide mode" 16:9 with my universal remote. I do not have a "picture size" button on my universal.
Attempting to access the option from the front panel has not worked. I can get into the "picture" setup screen but I can not change the format to theaterwide. Do you need a Toshiba remote to access "picture size?
The store clerks where I bought the set were no help!

Go to a store where they sell the TV & take your universal remote with you. Copy the picture size button code from the store remote!

Download this cff file: [Link: remotecentral.com]This is for the remote for the 32wd98b. should be almost the same remote as yours. Cut the screensize button from it and paste it into your setup. Z
