I have looked through the site and I love it, never would I have believed there was so much to talk about regarding remotes and their uses. Since deciding to buy a full home cinema set up I have too many remotes and had to buy a learning remote to take control.

I have various makes of equipment I need to control but the most important(and the most awkward remote) is the AV receiver, which is a Nad T760. I bought an entry level remote which seemed to get good reviews which was the Cambridge Audio M500 or Home Logic UR362. The remote can control everything otherthan the NAD amp.

I have mailed NAD to find out if the remote uses Hi Frequency IR or cycling which could cause problems with most remotes. I also contacted Cambridge Audio and asked them would the M500 be able to cope with such frequencies and they said NO.

Can anybody tell me if the problem is with the actual remote unit or with the fact the model cannot handle NAD codes?
If there is a way to get it to work with a NAD or if there is another remote which can control the NAD then please let me know

thanks in advance

I have an NAD 760, and using the Pronto TSU2000. Works great. There are some sample CCF files (Pronto configurations) in the files section of the Pronto forum here.

The only thing I can't get working (I'm not sure NAD supports it) is a discrete power on/off code. I can easily cycle on/off, but cant force an on OR an OFF. All other functions work great.

Other devices are a:
JVC 32020 TV
NAD 550 DVD
Panasonic 4521 VCR
Scientific American cable box
