I would like to hookup a dvd player using the component video connections. My problem is I will have to run about 30-35 feet worth of cable. My plans are to run RCA connections to the wall plate and convert to RG6 behind the wall plate to the back of the wall plate behind the TV. At that point, convert back to RCA to plug into the TV's component inputs. Is this okay? I wasn't to happy with the idea of buying a component cable for this application at a cost of $130. Any suggestions would be grrrreeeaattlly appreciated. Thanks.
